Under the Australian Consumer Law, if your caravan has a major failure you can choose a refund, replacement, or compensation for the drop in value. These consumer guarantees apply automatically and can't be excluded, restricted or modified by any warranty.

New JB caravans carry a 5-year structural warranty and a 3-year manufacturer's warranty, with a further 2-year sealant extension when the 36-month sealant service is completed. Individual appliances and components are covered by their own manufacturers' warranties.

Contact JB Caravans before any repair work begins, provide proof of purchase and details of the fault, and wait for written authorisation. Repairs carried out without prior authorisation may not be covered.

A deposit confirms your order and its terms are set out in your purchase agreement. Change-of-mind deposits are generally non-refundable — but your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply, regardless of what the agreement says.

Contact your authorised dealer first, then JB Caravans Customer Experience if it isn't resolved. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 48 hours. You can also contact external bodies such as the ACCC or your state consumer agency at any time.
