2. Limitations — what the Concierge cannot do

The JB Digital Concierge is not a licensed professional adviser. It is an AI tool trained on JB product data and general caravan industry information. It does not replace the judgement of a qualified caravan dealer, mechanical engineer, licenced weighbridge operator, or financial adviser.

Recommendations are indicative only and depend entirely on the accuracy of the information you provide. JB Caravans does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any Concierge output for your specific circumstances.

Towing and weight advice

Any towing compatibility or weight guidance provided by the Concierge:

• Is based on publicly available vehicle manufacturer specifications and may not reflect your vehicle's actual configuration, modifications, or condition

• Does not account for your specific GVM, GCM, towbar rating, brake controller, or state-specific towing laws

• Does not constitute certification or engineering sign-off that a towing combination is roadworthy or compliant

• Must be verified independently with your vehicle manufacturer and a licensed weighbridge before towing

Never rely solely on the Concierge for towing decisions. Overloading or incorrectly towing a caravan is dangerous, may be illegal, and may void your JB warranty and your vehicle manufacturer's warranty.

Prices and specifications provided reflect information at the time of training and may not reflect current pricing or specification changes. Always confirm with your authorised JB dealer before making any purchasing decision.

Whenever you use the JB Digital Concierge, the following notice is shown within the chat so its limitations stay visible throughout your conversation:

4. Data collected by the Concierge

When you interact with the JB Digital Concierge, the following data may be collected:

• Conversation content including preferences, tow vehicle details, and budget information

• Session metadata including timestamps and interaction patterns

• Any personal information you voluntarily provide, such as name or email address

This data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You may use general product discovery without submitting personal information.

4A. Automated decisions and human review

This section is effective from 10 December 2026 and should be read alongside §5A of our Privacy Policy.

The JB Digital Concierge produces three kinds of automated outputs that are treated as "automated decisions" under §5A of our Privacy Policy:

• Product recommendation — the models, variants, and layouts the Concierge suggests based on your stated preferences, terrain, and budget (see §1, Model discovery).

• Towing compatibility assessment — the indicative tow-match output based on your vehicle make, model, and configuration (see §1, Towing guidance, and §2, Towing and weight advice).

• Finance estimate — the indicative repayment figure based on price range, deposit, and term (see §2, Finance guidance).

These outputs are indicative only and are subject to the limitations in §2 of this disclaimer. They are not a contract, not professional advice, not a credit assessment, and not engineering or roadworthiness certification.

4A.1 Your right to request human review

If a Concierge output significantly affects you — for example, you disagree with a towing-compatibility result, you believe a finance estimate is materially wrong, or you would like a person to reconsider a recommendation before you act on it — you may ask us to have the output reviewed by a member of our team.

To request human review:

• Email privacy@jbcaravans.com.au with the subject line "Human review request", or

• Contact our Privacy Officer using the details in §6.

Please include the date and time of the Concierge session, the tool or capability you used, and what you would like reviewed. We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and complete the review within a reasonable time, and in any case no later than 30 days. The reviewer will be a person who was not involved in the original automated output.

The right to request human review described in this §4A is available now on a goodwill basis through the contact channels in §6, and becomes a formal right under §5A of our Privacy Policy on 10 December 2026.

Nothing in this section limits your right to request human review of an automated decision under §4A.

5. Liability

Nothing in this disclaimer limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to those rights, JB Caravans excludes all liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on Concierge output, including incorrect towing assessments, inaccurate pricing or specification information, misinterpretation of warranty coverage, or any purchasing or financial decision made in reliance on Concierge advice.
